I have no idea. What intrigues me is I didn't realize the number needed to be discovered.... Like, couldn't they have just added 1 to the biggest number we knew of so far?

By the way - the number is apparently 9.1 million digits long and equals 2 to the 30,402,457th power minus 1. The Cap'n and I have an idea: how 'bout we take 2 to the 30,402,457th power and add 3 to it... Take that you math geniuses! And we didn't even have to program 700 computers to come up with it! Ok, we're going back to drinking now ...
